1. Services
Just Like Mum Cleaning Agency (“the Agency”, “we”, “our”) provides domestic and commercial cleaning services as agreed with the client (“you”). Services will be carried out according to the booking details (time, frequency, and type of service). Any additional services must be requested and agreed upon in advance.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
Bookings can be made via phone, email, or in writing.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at 50% of the agreed service fee.
If the cleaner is unable to access the property at the scheduled time, the full fee may still be charged.
3. Payments
Payment is due on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer or other agreed methods.
Late payments may incur a £10 administrative fee.
4. Access to Property
Clients must ensure safe and easy access to the property.
Keys may be securely held by the Agency if agreed in writing.
The Agency is not liable for loss or damage to property due to faulty keys, locks, or alarm systems.
5. Health & Safety
Cleaners will not move heavy furniture or items for health and safety reasons.
Hazardous or unsafe working conditions (including pests, mould, or dangerous items) may result in cancellation of the service.
6. Quality of Service
If you are not satisfied with the service, you must report it within 24 hours.
The Agency will arrange a re-clean or partial refund at our discretion.
7. Liability
The Agency has Public Liability Insurance to cover accidental damage or injury caused by our cleaners. We are not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage
Items of sentimental or high monetary value (e.g. jewellery, antiques, cash) unless specifically declared and agreed in writing
Damage caused by faulty equipment, products, or materials supplied by the client
8. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate instructions and access to required cleaning areas.
Ensure cleaning products or special materials (if required) are available, unless provided by the Agency.
Secure fragile or valuable items prior to the clean.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the cleaning arrangement with 7 days’ written notice for regular cleaning contracts.
Immediate termination may apply if terms are breached (e.g. non-payment, unsafe conditions).
10. Privacy
Client information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.
